I am selling my 1965 Ford Mustang. It has an A200 Inline 6-cylinder engine and a C4 automatic transmission. I believe I am the fourth owner of the car. I have owned it for little over a year and have done extensive work on the engine and interior. The car runs well, it sometimes drives roughly in the heat but it is perfect for driving around town. The transmission was recently replaced with a used transmission in great shape and had a full service done on it. The engine was also recently fully serviced. A rear motor seal was replaced, the freezer plugs and spark plugs have been replaced, and various other work was done. The gas tank and sending unit was also replaced within the last two years. The interior is in excellent condition. Both the driver and passenger seats are newly reupholstered. A new radio and speakers have been installed. The instrument bezel is brand new. 3-point seatbelts have also been installed. The heater works. The carpeting and roof are in pristine condition. There is a small crack in the dashboard cover on the passenger side but this is a minor fix. The gas gauge is not properly functioning. The speedometer is also not working, the speedometer cable most likely needs to be replaced. The odometer has also not been working the whole time I have owned the car. There also seems to be some issues with the electrical system. The tail lights are currently not working. The lights behind the gauges are also not working. However, the headlights and turn signals are in perfect working condition. Overall, the body is in good shape. There is some slight rust and are a couple chips in the paint (the car could probably use a good paint job). I also recently replaced the weather stripping in the doors and have some for the rear windows. It has two sets of original hubcaps, the set currently on the car are in great shape. This is a great project car. The work I have done on it so far has made it a good daily driver with fantastic interior. It is going to take more work but it is well worth it.
