this 56 ford has had a cosmetic amateur restoration 19 years ago and it is starting to show, the mechanicals are all original ,the floors / trunk floor / inner rockers / floor supports are in good shape (see pictures ) the body work has waves and imperfections , the original 292 4bbl runs good and the trans shifts smooth ,the tires are all good , the chrome is all original with a few pits here and there, in the last few years if the car sits for a few days without starting the torque converter will make a banging sound for a few seconds when its started but it goes away and works fine ? in the last few weeks we have gone to four car cruises and put about 700 trouble free miles on it , it has an aftermarket am/fm cassette stereo and an electric wiper conversion please see all the pictures and ask all questions before bidding , the car is available for inspection at any time during the auction there are also more pictures available just ask , thanks
