I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 with the optional 5.0L V8 engine. The Ford Explorer is based off of the tried and true Ford Ranger platform and has an excellent reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV. I would rate the exterior of this Explorer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is a good looking truck overall. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few blemishes and flaws commensurate with age and mileage. The only things really worth a specific mention on this Explorer is a noticeable crease that runs the length of the right fender and a few scrape marks on the right side of the rear bumper. The paint shines nicely for its age. The body lines up nice and the panel gaps are even all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Michelin's with good tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Explorer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The charcoal leather looks good against the black and gray exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age, too. The seats and center arm rest show normal wear but are acceptable for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seat, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. The heater and air conditioner both appear to be working properly. The cargo area is spacious and clean. A full set of books and manuals are included. Mechanically, this Explorer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight. The brakes and steering feel good, too. She does pull a little to the right so you may want to have the alignment checked at some point. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly without any issues. The full time 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she cruises easily and feels confident. You get a few little vibrations here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 15 year old truck. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 with the optional 5.0L V8 engine. The Ford Explorer is based off of the tried and true Ford Ranger platform and has an excellent reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV. I would rate the exterior of this Explorer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is a good looking truck overall. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few blemishes and flaws commensurate with age and mileage. The only things really worth a specific mention on this Explorer is a noticeable crease that runs the length of the right fender and a few scrape marks on the right side of the rear bumper. The paint shines nicely for its age. The body lines up nice and the panel gaps are even all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Michelin's with good tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully.
I would also rate the interior of this Explorer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The charcoal leather looks good against the black and gray exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age, too. The seats and center arm rest show normal wear but are acceptable for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seat, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. The heater and air conditioner both appear to be working properly. The cargo area is spacious and clean. A full set of books and manuals are included.
Mechanically, this Explorer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight. The brakes and steering feel good, too. She does pull a little to the right so you may want to have the alignment checked at some point. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly without any issues. The full time 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she cruises easily and feels confident. You get a few little vibrations here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 15 year old truck. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
