Up for auction, my 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 5spd 4x4. One of the best trucks ever made. The truck is near spotless, the paint looks better than new, and there is no rust. Truck is stored indoors. Rare factory 2 tone. I have never had any problems with this truck. I am an ASE certified mechanic and I have upgraded the steering and suspension. When I bought the truck 6/9/14 it needed an alignment, so I replaced upper and lower ball joints (Moog), both wheel bearings(precision), bought new bosch rotors and calipers and hoses, new sway-bar links (Moog), new dampener(Rancho), Bought an upgraded steering gear and steering shaft (Borgeson $1400+), Borgeson power steering pump, and Gates power steering hoses, I also added a steering brace. Then had the truck aligned, I have the alignment print-out. The shocks are fairly new, I just replaced the rear axle seals (mopar) and serviced the rear end, the front end was serviced a few months ago. Transmission was serviced this winter. I also flushed the cooling system. I have only had the the truck for 4000 miles and have changed the oil twice with Royal Purple 15-40. Fuel filter has also been changed. Tekonsha Digital brake controller. Pictures do not do the truck justice. This truck has been babied. I have seen plenty of 12 valves but this truck has something about it...it's something else! And the Dodgy steering problems these trucks are born with are fixed on this beaut. The AC blows ice cold. Everything on the truck works: heater, pre-heater, cruise control, grid heater, etc. The transmission shifts smooth and easy. Don't settle for an automatic. 4wd is flawless. The motor is stock and has never been molested. This motor has enough power do do whatever you need. I did valve cover gaskets (felpro) a couple months ago. No oil leaks anywhere, Royal Purple synthetic power steering fluid since day one. I didn't want to overly detail the truck; its an honest beast. 6 brand new Hankook RT03 Tires. The truck has a 4inch exhaust and an Airaid cold air filter. If you know your trucks, you know how much all this maintenance costs, but don't worry I have completed it all and I have the receipts. Bradford built powder coated bed with lock-boxes( with keys), LED bed and tail lights. Gooseneck Ball under trap door in the bed. I used this truck once in a while to haul a car trailer. I just took it to southern MO kayaking last weekend (700mile trip) and got 20mpg. It was safety inspected last year and has the sticker. This truck gets a lot of attention everywhere I go and it deserves it. Clear IL title. I also have a light duty 18' Gooseneck tandem axle trailer that I will sell separately.
