"Dear jlk_north, ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION ABOUT IT WITH HARD PROOF, THIS CAR IS THE REAL THING!!!!! He was indeed a bit of a special car instead of average. He started life getting his body built in the Van Nuys CA Fisher Body Plant in Early June of 1955. He was tagged to be a 210 2-Door Sedan DEL-RAY Coupe. He is an original 265 CID V-8 and he was tagged to have an ONYX BLACK LOWER BODY and an INDIA IVORY TOP!.. The interior would have been of the Del-Ray Style with the stitched squares at the top in BLACK AND IVORY VINYL. The picture from your set that shows the top of the back seat IS the original UPH. The dash has not been painted and is the correct Black and White. AND it looks like the body itself may not have ever been painted as it is still the correct original colors. Aside from the amount of rust-out from just sitting, this is an above the average car model and it deserves to bring an above average price. Should you get $2,550. you will be getting just about what this car sold for when it was a brand new shiny speed demon (and let me add well worth it). I truly hope that the person that buys it will do it justice and return it to its brand new car condition. It will surely be a looker. I also hope that this information I have provided has been helpful. ALL THE BEST!!!!! "
