This is a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTR AWD Twin Turbo with the RB26DETT motor and 5speed manual trans. BNR32-001004 It is listed as a 1980 due to ebays rules on vehicles newer than this requiring a 17 digit vin, JDM cars to NOT have a 17 digit vit. This cars vin is BNR32-001004 and it is a 1989 NIssan GT-R This car is FEDERALLY legally, and imported with ALL of the correct/legal paperwork such as the Bond Release. All import taxes/tariffs have been paid upon importing. Its 100% ready for the new owner. I have sold a few 1989 GTRs and they are all registered with the new owners and have had no problems. You will be the first registered owner in the USA. You can register just like any other vehicle in ANY state except Cali and Hawaii. The car has 132,xxx KM on it, so about 82k miles. The car has had a FRESH pain job. The body is in great shape with not a single dent/ding/scratch. It was painted the OEM color. Its a True GTR (BNR32-001004)but previous owner had a GTS front bumper on it trying to go for the " sleeper " look. The front window trim is also not on the car, but I have a pair I will be including. It’s a nice stock base to build your dream beast with. It’s not a 100% perfect example but like i said the paint is in great shape and is more than likely the cheapest NON RUSTED out GTR that has been for sale. I have uploaded a video and provided a link at the bottom of this listing. Please be sure to check it out. It gives a great idea on the overall condition of the car. The main flaws on this car are its interior. It has a small aftermarket steering wheel that for me is too small, its also missing both door speakers, and grills that cover the speakers. The dash does NOT have cracks in it, and the door panels/seats are in good shape. It doesn't have floor mats and due to this the carpet is dirty/worn in the front. Mechanically the car starts up and runs/drives fine. I have a video at the bottom of the auction doing a few short pulls to show it pulls through the gears smoothly with no sputter/hesitation. Occasionally it grinds going into 3rd gear. Transmissions can be found on ebay for $500, I just don't have the time to replace it. Its not something that is NEEDED right away. The car also does NOT have Air Conditioning, it seems to have been removed from the car prior to me purchasing it. The cars undercarriage is NOT all rusted out either. I took photos of under the car as many buyers want to see this so please be sure to look. I have not spent much time driving the car ( I imported it for resale, and its been stored in an enclosed trailer ever since it had the fresh paint to avoid scratches ect ) I can help arrange shipping as well, I get a decent price on shipping due to the volume of cars I ship. I have had a few questions concerning this. The car has been listed a few times prior, unfortunately the last auction was won by a person who " thought" they could get a loan for the car and was not able to obtain one from the bank. Previously the person purchased it with the " Buy it now" and thought they were submitting an offer but claimed they " Accidentally" hit the buy it now button.. Both times I had to contact eBay to receive listing fee credits and Re-list it. PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE only bid if you have the funds ready to go. It has hard to obtain a normal car loan on something like this due to banks not having it in their system. I have had a lot of time wasted by non serious buyers.
