1953 Chevrolet 3100 shortbed 5 window deluxe , beautiful Los angeles Ca. built and lived pickup ! Completely disassembled , glass out , bed off , cleaned underneath and shot chassis black . New 2 stage original GM light green paint , color sanded and rubbed out to a high gloss . All brand new chrome grille , bumpers , emblems , door handles , trim , hubcaps , beauty rings , glass , window regulators ( windows roll up and down great ) weatherstripping etc... All new stock brown interior . Restored gauges and speedometer like new . New steering wheel . Completely professionally rewired front to back with new harness and upgraded to 12 volt , new battery . New oak bed wood finished in marine spar varnish , new stainless strips and hardware . Rebuilt 235 engine , nicely detailed , replaced rear main seal - no leaks ! New clutch , brakes , radiator , exhaust , rebuilt carb. all kinds of stuff ... Stock 4 speed shifts very nicely , new 16 " wide whitewalls . Really nice looking truck ! Got told today that it looks like a brand new truck while I was getting gas ... Compliments and thumbs up everywhere you take it .
