Here's a rare chance to buy a very nice Impala SS at a reasonable price! One of our storage clients recently sold his home, and has no room for this car any more. Present owner bought this car back in the mid 80's and has slowly but very carefully restored it over the years. There are still a few things to do, but very few....A/C needs to be hooked up (components included), and headliner needs to be replaced (material included). There are a few boxes of spare parts that are OEM, some new and some correct used pieces. Original engine was a 283 V8, but now it has a sweet running 327 V8. Powerglide is original, and he said it has always leaked a tiny bit but it shifts fine. There's a folder full of receipts, a framed portrait, some car show trophies, and manuals that are included with the sale. There is no title for this car due to it's age but we had to check clear to list the car. In process of moving and must sell Thanks,Joe My Personal Opinion: I have personally looked the car over and driven it. I have reviewed all of the documentation that the owner provided, know the owner personally, and know the shop owner personally who did the body and paint. This is not a Barrett Jackson car, but it's also not $75000.00. The car runs and drives very nicely, body and paint work appears to have been done correctly, and the trim is in nice condition. I have had the car up on a lift and the frame appears to be very solid. The center well in the trunk floor has been replaced at some point and a nice job done with that.A few odds and ends need doing in the interior, but overall very presentable. If I owned the car, I'd install the A/C and headliner then drive it just the way it is. Having been a licensed Vermont auto dealer for 34 years, I'd would call this car an 8 out of 10...The car is for sale locally, and I have to reserve the right to end this auction early but I will not end the auction if I have bids.
