We have owned this car since new (September 2007) and it has been garage kept except on trips all its life. It's a one owner, low mileage vehicle that has been Mercedes maintained for all servicing and maintenance. The fine folks at Mercedes of Marion (formally Foley-Switzer) in Marion, Illinois have done all work on the car since new. We have had no major problems with it and wouldn't be afraid to head out across country at any time. It's absolutely a beautiful car with no blemishes or mechanical problems except two small marks on each corner of rear bumper and a small scratch on the right front wheel. The marks are not very noticeable, take a look at the pics. Never been wrecked. That doesn't mean that one couldn't find a slight mark or two if you scrutinized every inch but it could easily pass for new or near new condition. If you are in the market for a preowned S550, I don't believe you will be disappointed with this one in any way. I encourage you to come take a look and I'm sure you will agree. The reason for selling is we just have too many cars and desire to thin out a little. Did you know a new S550 All wheel drive can exceed $100,000? Thanks, for looking.Clarification on the paint color and interior color. Paint is Pewter Metallic #723 and the interior is Lt. Tan # 204 according to the Mercedes dealer ship where we get it serviced. I haven't been able to find the original window sticker that came with the car. I believe I may have it filed away and just haven't located it yet. Just took a look at our tire history on this car and thought I would share that new tires were put on the car at approximately 18000 miles. I believe in having good tires and brakes for safety. It has Michelins on it and they ride and drive great. These tires only have approx. 13,000 miles on them and should have lots of life left.The car is being offered locally and a local sale may end auction unless someone opts for "Buy It Now" or bids hit the reserve price before auction is ended.This car is called a 4Matic by Mercedes which means it is ALL WHEEL DRIVE. Not all S550's are 4Matics.
