1949 GMC 100 Pickup Up for sale is a classic 1949 GMC 100 Pickup Truck. Has a smooth running 235 Inline 6 with 3 speed on column. It's a NC truck from the beginning. Was recently bought from an older gentleman who's had it since 2000. Has not been driven much since 2006. Father-in-law purchased it early this year. We got it up & running & have been driving it since. Has new clutch & pressure plate plus some new bushings on front end. Other than getting it running, I don't know a whole lot about the truck. It's been converted to 12 volt system, but does need some wiring help. Brake lights work, but turns signals are kinda in & out. The wiring system is pretty basic so I don't think it would take much to get fixed. This was before my time, so not sure. I do have some wiring diagrams & manuals that will come with truck. Overall this is a great truck since it is a 1949. It's not a show truck by no means, but just a good weekend driver. Looks to have been painted a couple times (blue showing in places). Grille is showing signs of age, but is original. Interior not fully finished. Door handles also takes some getting use to. It hardly has any rust at all!! Bed is still in really great shape (no rot). Just got through driving it around town today & it gets alot of looks!! Hard to find a 1949 thats not been rat rodded or rusted away. I would rate it a 7 out of 10. It's really no big issue. Just thought I would add that in for buyer. They didn't have turn signals back then so someone added them. That's what needs some work. Everything else seems fine. He's been driving it like that since he's owned it. As for the body its very good for a 49. Body and frame have no rust! Normal surface rust in few places but very minimal. Would place at car show if entered! I'm straight forward when it comes to selling stuff, always like to be honest. Hope this helps everyone and HAPPY BIDDING!
