At long last I have come to the realization that it is time to downsize my classic car collection and private museum. Sadly, I am offering some of my old collector cars for sale. This is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door that I acquired from 3rd owner who had it for 35 years! About 30 years ago he did a very nice restoration on it to do it up as a 1960's period '57 Chevy mild hot rod '57 like what you would have seen on "American Graffiti", or on many streets of the USA during that great era! 1. Rebuilt Non matching # small block Chevy 350 with 4bbl & gear drive cam. Sounds really cool like it has a blower. 2. Rebuilt turbo 350 trans. 3. Body stripped & painted yellow with period pin striping as shown. Body looks great yet, not dented or rusted out. Very solid. 4. Excellent chrome and brightwork (some was replaced during restoration, some is very nice original) 5. Modern stereo am/fm/cassette that fits dash 6. Chrome reverse rims 7. Car is very solid and still shows very well even though it is an older restoration. Was kept indoors and just driven to shows & cruise ins on nice days. Shows 73,000 miles, which is believed to be correct. 8. Runs very well, transmission shifts crisply, handles well for a 1957 model. We recently drove it on a 125 mile trip with no problems or issues. Sounds awesome! 9. Clean and solid underneath, not scaly. Here are a couple things that I noticed will need attention: 1. Drivers door window is cracked (replacements are available very reasonably on line. 2. Aftermarket tachometer is not hooked up/working Everyone knows that a '57 Chevy is the quintessential American classic car! Here is a great looking 2 door top of the line Bel Air model period hot rod offered at a NO RESERVE starting price that is VERY reasonable and won't break the bank! Still plenty of summer left to go to car shows and cruise-ins! If some one GAVE you a project car for free, you could not turn it into this car for what you can buy this one for!
