1973 Volvo 1800ES Last year of manufacturing, one of only 8077 ever made, and there is not too many left out there. I purchased it in the spring of 2004 from the original owner in Des Moines, IA. I drove the car home the same day, with the intent of restoring it. A few months later I purchased a 1968 Volvo 1800S, as it came with some parts that I thought I could use for this car, but after some thought I figured it would be a shame to use it as a donor, and decide to restore that one first. So the 1973 Volvo has been sitting in a heated garage ever since, once a year I move it out of the garage when it has to be swept, but other than that it has been sitting parked. The car stars and runs very well. There is some rust in the usual places for this vehicle, but mechanically it is pretty solid, and with some TLC, it could be an excellent daily driver, or for your weekend trips down some twisty roads. My interests have shifted in other directions, so I am very interested in selling this, but not to the point of giving it away! TERMS AND CONDITIONS1.
