The Dash and steering wheel are also in fantastic shape with no abnormal wear, tears, stains or cracking. The dash, doors, console are accented with beautiful burl walnut trim which is all absolutely gorgeous. This car has the optional Bose Sound System with 6CD Changer which sounds amazing! Mechanically is where this Benz is a stand out! It has very healthy, powerful and bullet-proof 5.0L V8. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly and cruises at low RPM which increases fuel economy and driving comfort. It has a full service history documenting this car was well maintained. The maintenance reports shows mfr. service intervals were met and stamped in the original service record booklet. My service advisor loves this stately auto and tells me this was one of the cleanest SL's he has ever seen! In fact, it has the original build sheet stapled inside the service booklet!!
