You are bidding on a 1965 Mustang V8 convertible with 289 and 9 inch posi rear end and 4 speed manual trany. Not a real GT but has GT rear valance. Transmission is not original to car, i believe its a 1967 Mustang. Missing manual pedals. Power top car but cylinders are bad and needs replaced. Body will need to be completed by a body man. Still has high and low spots but solid! All photos taken July 2015. Mustang was completely sand blasted, then primed with 2 stage primer with hardener. Some tar was still left on body and not all completely removed. I have an excellent trunk lid but forgot it in storage. You get it also. Engine is original to car and, a 1965 289 V8 but needs completely rebuild, sat outside in shed. Heads pictured are 289 and are ready to put on and run but not original to car. Power steering car with good pump. Missing: radio, 4 speed shifter, bell housing, dash pad, pedals, carpet, gas tank and drivers door panel. Has clear VIN numbers on aprons. Door trim tag is missing. Body is SOLID, doors are solid, fenders are solid with NO rust in or out, hood is solid. At some point this Mustang had quarters replaced and torque boxes and or other panels replaced. Each done excellently and professionally. Drivers door needs to be put back together as its apart. No carpet. Windshield has a crack and needs replaced and needs rubber seal. Original color is Blue, but car has white also, so at one point car was painted white i believe if not more colors. Not all parts are born with that are currently on this Mustang. Its 50 years old. Front bumper is just really sitting on and not bolted. Needs to be bolted correctly and aligned. If you don't see it, you don't get it. I do have original rear end if you want that also and original trany. Again has a 9" rear end now with highway gears. Needs brakes placed back on it. Front brakes are fine. I have this car ready to ship. All parts are sitting inside the body. Highest bid WINS this car!!! Questions?
