hello, im selling my 1984 jetta turbo diesel, clean title,original California car, ZERO rust, no accidents or dents. clean original paint. everything is original on the car how it came form factory.dome light and key buzzer still work. im the second owner, i got her 5 years ago from the original owner who had it in a garage for all its life, never drove it in the rain. unfortunately i have 6 vws and cant keep all of them in a garage, however i have covered her most her life and always kept her clean and waxed to protect from whatever elements come at it. the cluster is the only thing that has been changed with a working on, the cluster is original the speedometer stopped working at 55k miles i had it replaced with a working one. with the new cluster the car and engine have about 67,000 give or take 10-15 miles. the interior is super clean with no signs of wear on door cards, dash or headliner. seats are from a mk2 gli. they are the recaro trophy seats. both seats have covers. the passenger side seat is really clean with no tears the driver side seat has some wear and the foam is exposed. easy fix for an interior shop. has the original radio that works great and stations come in clear. original key that opens all doors and trunk and ignition. mechanically she is in tip top shape. it has a 6 month old injection pump with,at the same time i had everything that needed to be done redone. New timing belt, water pump, thermostat, fan temp switch, oil pressure switch, fuel filter,all belts and hoses, injectors,glow plugs, glow plug relay, air filter, valve cover gasket, vacuum pump for the brake booster rebuilt. new clutch, new clutch cable, new quality German brakes all around with new heard wear. new rear bearings and drums and drum housings. all oils and liquids drained and refilled with German parts all from germanautoparts.com and installed by a local vw specialist. brand new tire also at the same time a total of $3000 in maintenance and labor done this January. turns right up everytime and drives anywhere with no issues. There is a crack in the front windshield, $100 fix but I have been driving it for 5 years with the crack and no issues, that being said it's not the original window it was replaced by the original owner once. Also needs new front strut mount, the passenger side is making some noise. roof rack is included with the sale along with a clean clear tint less original rear window.
