Vehicle Detail
Here's a rare opportunity to own an awesome little VW "Caddy" truck. This is a super fun truck to drive. It's like a little car with all the perks of a truck. There were't many of these made. Over 4 years of production, only 75,947 were sold. The truck is freshly tuned up and has a fresh inspection sticker that is good until June 2017. It starts right up, idles, runs and drives great. She gets great gas milage, at least 40 MPG, depending whether driving on the highway or in town. I want to say it averages around 44 MPG. This one left the factory with this original Silver color and was born in 1982. Odometer currently reads 136,499. She bares a lot of original paint with a respray on the bottom years ago. Enjoy it now as a daily driver with absolutely no worries. I would hop in it and drive it cross country without a worry. VERY VERY Solid and VERY hard to find in this condition! West coast car with virtually no rust. Don't sleep on this one! I have the original owners manual as well as a manual on CD. List of things done recently.- Fresh Tune-Up- Fresh Oil Change- New Oil Filter- 4 New Tires- 4 New Rims- Alignment- 4 Original rims included plus extra tires- Rear Bed Cover included (not pictured)- New Plugs and Wires- New Fuel Filter- New Air Filer- New Timing Belt- New Windshield Wipers I know I will regret selling this, but I have too many cars and not enough space. I have other vintage VW's that I will be listing this week and I'm also considering selling my 23 window bus. Stay tuned!Maine is a no title state when it comes to antique cars ( 25 years and older ). Therefore, this sale will only come with a bill of sale, not a title, but if for some reason you need the registration to register it in your state that won't be a problem. The vehicle is clean with no leans and not a savage vehicle. Registration works for getting vehicles over the boarder and in/out of other countries. So this acts as a title for title. Your state will issue you a title when you register it there. International sales are fine, but buyer pays all fees including taxes and duties. Thank youOn Jul-17-15 at 05:02:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added some photos of the underneath to show how solid this truck actually is. Bid with confidence. This is an awesome little truck. Happy bidding!
