Runs and drives great! No hassle with a carburetor and adjusting valves.Its running on obd2 fuel injection. I have an extra irs tans to go with it. Tires are good. The engine is a 2.0L ABA engine code out of a 93-99 Volkswagen golf or jetta. The ABAs are known for running a very long time. Its about 120hp. The pre 95 ABAs came fully forged so they are a bit stronger. This ABA is out of a 93 golf, but i switched it to obd2 fuel injection because its simpler and easier to work with. I believe this is the ideal engine for a buggy if you want to stay Volkswagen because of how reliable it is. It runs and drives just like a daily driver. You can very easily get parts for it at any auto parts store. Why build a, say anything over a 2000cc like a 2110, when you can run this engine and make about the same hp much more reliably. It is also very simple to turbo charge. With just a chip, injectors, turbo, and manifold at 10 psi, (which is very safe for a stock ABA), you can have 200hp. Its not in perfect shape but its a blast to drive with the horse power it has and is very unique.
