Born in Germany. Raised in Texas. Transplanted to YOUR garage!! Please don't hold it against me on the "Comfortline" or "Classic" branding. I know what these cars are about but hardly a clue on categories. Pretty sure I got it right tho!! Honestly....what a perfect color combination for ANY driver!! Female curves....male boldness. This is the true one size fits all vehicle. And NO RESERVE says ANYONE can be a winner!! Being 6 feet tall myself, I was shocked at the insane amount of headroom in this car!! Yes it has the typical convertible shakey looseness over the heavy bumps but don't get that confused with being a rattlebox. This car is tight and smooth. Body is an EASY 9 out of 10 with only a few touched up rockchips to be found. NO DENTS and I don't think I found any dings, truth be told. Zero rust of course being from Texas. Literally....it's been in Illinois for about 3 weeks. Then handed to me to sell to you. I'm no bodyman, but I can't see any signs of any bodywork, repairs, or repaints. Matching BFGoodrichs look very recent with only a hair of road noise from the right rear. ALL ride on undamaged vibration free rims. Unseen are the nearly new brake pads and rotors all the way around. The car will stop on a dime with zero brake pulse or grinding. Not needed here of course, but proof that the car passed Texas' stringent inspection policies. Nose and hood look great. Minimal rockchips. Bumper covers are stellar. Top is nearly perfect save for the one teeny tiny hole...see pic closeup below toward the end. Can't really see it...and it's purely bones anyway...but the tint job wasn't so great in a couple spots on the driver's door. Couple bubbles. They haven't caught anything to form a tear. Just a bit of an eyesore. Can't see it from the inside. But...IF that's all there is to nitpick...and it is... How awesome is this interior color scheme?!? Just a touch of red up top with the tan leather with black accents. Super cool and frankly...high end for a Beetle if you ask me! I deal with TONS of Audi/BMW/Volvo cars and this put me right up there while driving! Minimal if any driver's bolster wear. Steering wheel and shifter are perfect. No holes or damages to the interior. I have no problem calling it a 9.5+ out of 10!! I HATE smoke and can't see or smell any signs of a former smoker. No burns. No ash. Nothing. Rear seating has a couple dark marks from being folded over. A little cleaner (you are getting the car as I received it from the Texas trade-in) will pull it right off. Otherwise the rear seats look like they were never sat in! As you can see...ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup below with NONE staying on during run above. No issues. No problems. Miles are correct. The car is parked so it will stay there! Dash is perfect as the day it was new. No fading or cracks. ALL power items work as they should: cruise, power windows, locks, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, Hot Heat, Heated seating, AM/FM/CD player, Power top, transmission controls, trunk, etc, and I believe it has power mirrors but don't quote me. Normally I don't snap a pic of the spare....but in this case...it's brand new!! Never been used, aired up ready for your roadtrip home....sidenote....this was a task as VW made it a specific pain in the rear to remove the spare tire. I can't imagine going thru all that only to find out that your spare is flat. No worries here...I took care of the labor for you! Below: BOTH WORKING factory keyless keyfob/keys are included. COMPLETE factory floormats are intact. COMPLETE factory manals along with the ORIGINAL window sticker!! Who knows...this may be carshow material soon! 25+ mpg by the way... Under the hood is the ridiculously clean engine compartment. Yours truly installed new spark plugs. It was time. Oil and coolant are clean. No signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No spots on my shop floor after 2 days. No overheating. Engine fires right up and runs smoothly. Transmission shifts thru all the gears as they should. All exterior lighting works properly. Fluids are proper. As stated, the brakes are perfect and very new. Suspension is tight and noise free. No squeaking, popping or issues. Car drives straight and smooth with no unusual pulling or wandering. Inspect my excellent feedbacks! BID, BUY, and DRIVE ANYWHERE with 100% CONFIDENCE!! NO RESERVE!! Above you can see the tiny hole.
