This is a unusual yet unique vehicle. Bought and brought back by a soldier from Germany where it spent most of its life in New Mexico. 2nd owner bought and brought it to Texas where it spent the remainder of the time in a enclosed garage due to his health. I bought it from the estate and have since got it back up & running. Thought the Grandson would like it but he wants a Jeep, so its for sale or trade. New starter, new fuel pump, new brake lines, new plugs and wires, fuel tank cleaned and coated, new seat covers, new convertible top. This isn't a perfect car, its old there are scratches and some paint fading but it is all mostly original and does runs & drive well. Still needs some tuning to make it right. This is a 1973 350SL European model with no factory a/c. I was told there were no 350SL models imported only 450SL. It has both tops and would make a great project, daily driver or just a parts car. Clear papers in hand and as stated above I'm looking for a vehicle for my Grandson. I have this car listed locally so I reserve the right to end this sale if sold. Been asked about rust, you can see what I see, looks good to me. The dash does have cracking near windshield. Not so bad that I would change it out.. There are other blemishes but for its age overall is good. Original owners manual is in glove box, plus other literature from original owner.
