This is sharp looking, fun little car. The cherry red color is beautiful. Clean title. The "defects" are described above. Now, the "positives":New timing belt.New serpentine belt.New spark plugs.New water pump.New front brake pads and had the rotors turned.Tires have half their life left.All fluids are fine as well as the back brakes.The exterior is in fantastic shape - just a few small scratches. The interior is in fantastic shape. There are no tears in the leather. I just had the rear glass re-glued to the top. The check engine light went off so I don't know if there is any issue. I took it to Aamco and they said there was no problem with the transmission. I have not had the car very long and never owned a Beetle before so I can't say if the engine light going on then off means anything.
