This is a high mileage but solid and great running 1996 Lexus LS 400, that I am selling for a friend. It has 307,630 mostly highway miles on it. Many of the miles were racked up while kids were attending college out of state. It was a certified previously owned car from a Lexus dealer, purchased 6/98, with 32k on it. He has owned it ever since. It is accident free as far as we know. The car is currently garage kept and functions as a daily driver. He has most receipts, many of which are from a Lexus dealer. It has a clear Indiana title. The car runs and drive great! It sure doesn't act like a car with 307k! It uses very little, if any oil. The AC blows COLD! The check engine light has been on forever. The windows, moon roof, stereo with 6 disc CD, all work. The tach/speedo sometimes don't work on startup, however a whack on the dash brings them to life! They function fine thereafter. The black paint is fair. It has the normal scraps and scratches from 19 years and 330k. The clearcoat seems to be in decent shape. The gold pin strip around the car has pretty well worn off. There is a small dent on the left rear door, maybe two inches in diameter, I have included a picture of that. I see no rust. The front seat bottoms are pretty rough, the backs are fine. The bottom of the back seat is fair also. The hood struts are shot, there is a stick in the trunk for that. The headliner looks great. The front tires should be replaced pretty soon, the back tires have 10k or more in them. The spare is mounted on a factory alum wheel. Most maintenance was performed from a preventative standpoint, not breakdowns. The car has been "rock solid". This vehicle can be driven home. Some items replaced are: Water pump, power steering pump, struts, and power steering hose. Along with regular oils changes, hoses, belts etc. This car is not new!! But it is a solid old Lexus.! It is being offered at no reserve. If you do not intend to buy this vehicle, DO NOT BID!!
