This Edsel is a one owner (Husband and Wife) It was bought new in Colorado on July 12 1958 and stayed in Colorado until recently. I purchased it from the Wife. Last license plate still on the car and is dated 1970. Odometer shows 7,368 miles. I have put fresh gas in it and changed fluids and plugs. Car runs good and needs to be driven. Mechanics: Engine is an E475 and between 1958 and 1970 the car had engine problems. I have not been able to find out exactly what went wrong. Instead of repairing the original engine they found a brand new E475 in Hemmings - purchased it and that is what is in the car now. After installation the car was not driven much so the engine has very low miles on it. The original engine is in Colorado and can go with the car but would have to be picked up in Colorado. Body: This car has a little bit of surface rust on it but the car is about as rust free as they come. The chrome rocker molding is missing on passenger side. The scrape on the right rear wheel well appears to be garage damage. This is a very original one owner car. Drives as is or makes an easy restoration.
