This all steel business coupe is in final stages of body off restoration. The owner has spent hundreds of man-hours on the body work, and over $15,000 on parts and services. Every part has been rebuilt or is NOS. Car drives like it came off of the Plymouth showroom in 1939. There are working keys for all 5 locks on the car. Body work- Painted bodywork is a DuPont single stage urethane, with all repairs using pick and file metalwork techniques and no filler. Main body section rust free, with all repairs using metal with minimal filler. Chrome-Triple plated show quality chrome on all exterior parts. Nickel plated interior parts, as original Running boards- Hunley Acuff running boards, one of the best in the business Dash- Beautiful dash completely refurbished. Rebuilt speedometer and NOS gauges, deluxe heater with defrosters. Everything works! All wood grained window trim pieces done. Radio was rebuilt, but no antenna installed. Interior- New Hampton Coach upholstery kit in original boxes included (original cost $2300) but not installed. Includes Tan Bedford cord seats and panels, beige headliner, brown carpet, and visors. Electrical system- 6 volt, new period correct YnZ's wiring harness with built in turn signal wiring. Every light on the car works, including the dome light. New battery installed. Glass- Note that the vent windows are not missing- the P7 model uses a single piece of door glass with no vent windows. Original glass is all flat and available. Temporary Plexiglas windshield installed with new windshield rubber. Rubber seals for all other windows not included. Door window regulators and sliding arm support channels are NOS. Engine- 1939 201 cu in professionally rebuilt flat head 6. All casting numbers correct for the year. Drive train- 3 speed transmission with floor shift. Transmission, rear differential, and drive line rebuilt. New clutch pressure plate, disc, and throw out bearing. Suspension- New kingpins, control arm bushings, bearings, tie rod ends. Fuel system- Tank professionally cleaned, all new lines, fuel pump, and professionally rebuilt carburetor Brakes- Hydraulic and emergency brakes rebuilt. Glass- Note that the vent windows are not missing- the P7 model uses a single piece of door glass with no vent windows. Original glass is all flat and available. Temporary Plexiglas windshield installed with new windshield rubber. Rubber seals for all other windows not included. Door window regulators and sliding arm support channels are all NOS. Tires/Wheels- New 600 x 16" Goodyear bias ply tires with new hubcaps on original steel wheels. Additional items included-1939 jack and toolkit -original shop manual and parts book -original owners manuals and adsMissing items- door sill plate assemblies, steering column to floor board insulator, floor shifter boot. Have originals of these, but are in bad shape. Clear title in hand, in my name. Sold AS-IS Where IS. Car is located in Oregon City, Oregon, just south of Portland. Will help with loading.
