Up for auction is a 1962 Studebaker Transtar pickup truck (7E 13D-131). I am the second owner of this extremely rare 1 ton NAPCO 4wd. I have owned this truck since 1976. It is a working and reliable truck, carrying various materials for me over the years. This truck is very strong. It has pulled out stumps, stuck neighbors, a jeep in a pond (dont ask), and several Ford and Chevy trucks pinned in the snow. This is not an easy sale for me, but I have to finish my street rod. Included in this auction is a long list of parts that I have collected over the years. These parts are: * Cab sourced from Arizona with doors and all glass * NOS metal front fenders with inner aprons * New Grille * NOS hood * New front cab supports * 2 New front springs * Rust/rot free frame (minor surface rust though) with running boards * 6 new tires * 6 painted rims (including dualies for rear) * Studebaker A/C under dash This is essentially a complete truck that requires assembly. I wish that I had the time to complete this because there are not many of this rare truck left. According to the research by The Studebaker Drivers Club, " 7E13D model 4WD trucks totalled 35 units". This means that ALL of the 7E models in 1962 (1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton) equal 35 units. This 1 ton model (I have been told) was one of 4 built in 1962. That is extremely rare.
