VW Weekender EuroVan Westfalia with Pop-Top in Excellent Mechanical Condition AND BRAND NEW (NOT Rebuilt) VW Engine from Germany installed by Shearer Volkswagon in South Burlington, Vermont. I purchased this 2002 VW EUROVAN WESTFALIA WEEKENDER POP-TOP in March, 2011 from a dealer in Los Angeles, CA. This van was originally owned and driven in Southern California. I paid $23,400 / millage: 115,209. The van has never been driven on winter roads and has been stored for the winter months since I have been in Vermont. I have all service records on this vehicle from previous owner and myself. In 2014 we discovered that the van needed an engine replacement. Instead of having a rebuilt engine installed, I opted to purchase a BRAND NEW ENGINE which was shipped from Germany to the VW dealer and installed by them. This NEW ENGINE has only 1000 miles on it!!! / VW dealer has gone over the mechanicals of this car from top to bottom, front to back and it is in perfect running condition and ready for a long road trip or short runs around town. The van has a NEW ENGINE shipped from VW in Germany and installed by Shearer VW in South Burlington, Vermont. The van now has 1000 miles on the new engine! This vehicle is now in EXCELLENT mechanical condition with BRAND NEW ENGINE!Since purchasing the van, I have had over $19,000 work done to get the van in excellent running condition. All of the major work was performed by Shearer VW in South Burlington, Vermont.The body of the van is in great condition and it was garaged during the Vermont winters and never driven on salty, winter roads. I did have a very minor fender bump that scratched some paint off the rear bumper (see pics) This is a great and fun car to drive and camp in. Seats 5 (2 rear facing seats were removed for more interior room) Interior table pops up and works perfectly. Rear seat folds down to sleep two. Upper pop-top platform ( removable for headroom) sleeps 2 more. Has a toe hitch that can tow up to 3,500 lbs installed by Uhaul. The top is in in good condition with a couple of small holes which have been patched. All zippers and screens working perfectly. All original curtains are included including extra large screen attachment for sliding door. I also had a great radio/CD / and ipod –aux compatible radio unit installed at Best Buy This van is ready to hit the highway and take you on the adventures you dream about!
