Awesome, original 1962 VW Dune Buggy with a new rebuilt 1600cc dual port engine. Engine contains new: flamethrower distributor and coil, fuel pump, oil cooler, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and belt. It contains the original sparkle exterior color (Raspberry?). In the last six months, I installed the following: new tires, new seats (front/rear), new front seat covers, seat adjusters, rear seat belts, grant steering wheel, gear shift knob, chrome side mirrors, 1965 impala rear tail lights, Optima battery, starter, ignition switch and numerous chrome accessories for the engine. The engine is the highly desirable 1600cc dual port model. It includes a new 110 cam, EMPI exhaust and new dual single Weber carburetors. Also included is an upgraded clutch and pressure plate. The frame and floor boards are in great condition and have had POR15 applied to preserve them in the future. This is a very nice dune buggy that was purchased from the original builder of it some forty plus years ago. Minor issues include horn, turn signals , windshield wipers and fuel indicator. This is as nice a dune buggy you will find, you won't be disappointed. It is being sold as is with no warranty of any type. You are welcome to have it inspected (your cost).
