Vehicle Detail
1973 Trans AM (Real Y code car) 455. Car has been stored in a garage for the past 12 years or so with approximately 19,000 original miles and is a garage/barn find. Car was originally born with a 455 (non-SD), auto trans with deluxe black interior with A/C. PHS attached In 1974 This car was converted to a Race Car by a gentleman named Larry Pyfferoen of LJP Racing is Wisconsin. A roll cage was added, complete fiberglass front end and rear quarters were widened. Herb Adams (VSE) "Very Special Equipment" suspension was added along with Koni shocks and a Dana rear end. Aluminum wheels with slicks. Engine does not run. This car would be alot of fun and a bad ass race car again. Could be a great father son project or just a fun race car, could be used as a street car as well. Car is located in Lincoln Nebraska and can be viewed in person. Please call or email with more questions. On Jun-16-15 at 21:56:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Many have asked if the engine is locked up or blown......the answer is NO, we don't believe so. It turns over freely with no grinding or catching. It is believed there is only a bent valve or two and needs the heads pulled.
