Vehicle Detail

No Reserve Auction starting @ $10.10 Super cool CA patina Travelall 1010. Amazing surviving condition with original paint. This wonderful old wagon was resurrected from retirement about 2 owners prior to DRD acquiring it and finishing it to it's current condition. THE ESSENTIALS: Great running original 392 with new carb and exhaust. Actual miles believed to be 128,869. Great shifting original 727 automatic transmission. No major leaks detected from either. Extremely Solid Rust free Ca survivor with the exception of the area (pictured in link below) around the passenger rear wheel and a small spot just above the windshield (also pictured). Very good rear metal floor, under carriage, door jambs, tailgate etc... P/S P/B A/T A/C Original Paint Original CA truck Original working A/C DRD acquired this one in good shape, having had the following work done already: New exhaust and Edelbrock Carburetor Rebuilt front torsion bar suspension (lowered and aligned) New rear Air shocks (raise the back about 2" when full, pictured also in link below) New interior New tires Newer Brakes New brake booster New Battery Dynamat lined floors and ceiling Upon acquiring DRD added: New windshield and seal New dash trim, CD with quick removable rear speakers and powered Subwoofer tube New gauges to replace the ones not working in the dash. Dropped the tank and added an OEM new sending unit and fuel guage (rear tank is currently not hooked up). Converted the original A/C and filled with R134...and it works! blows cold. Since it is the original system, I can't guaranty how long you can depend on it, but it really is a testament to just how well these old IH trucks were built. Got everything working, including all gauges (new or original), lights, wipes, signals, windows, etc. Replaced any missing dome lights, latches, emblems, etc with original parts. Cleaned and detailed. Truck is a thumbs up getter everytime you take it out. right after taking the photos below, had a guy follow me all the way home just to take a look and talk IH's. Runs and drives beautifully. Great ride, no bottoming out, unless airshocks are all the way empty, and even then, hardly at all. Travels down the freeway like it's on rails with no freeway steering wander. No excessive wind noise and all the factory tinted glass is perfect. Rear window rolls up and down on the front switch still with no issues other than being a little slow. Extremely solid, straight unit, with way better than average things like the tailgate, door jams, gutters, etc. Just the perfect patina, don't you think? ...and off the charts unique/cool factor. Perfect shop truck, hot/rat rod, family drive-in night rig, classic camper/trailer puller or everyday driver. Turnkey Americana at it's best (the Lassen Volcanic Park bumper stickers are authentic, and original). Truck Has been a Nothern CA Truck since new and was bought new at Prindle International in Redwood City, CA. Original owners manuals, line setting ticket included and glove box tag in tact. Also included, very neat vintage set of period roof racks (for your surf boards). DRD Motor Trade is a licensed bonded Ca Dealer. No other fees due at close of auction other than sales tax if taking delivery in CA. Air shock fill stem conveniently plumbed in rear bumper at license plate Motor running at idle with a/c on....
