Vehicle Detail
Okay Ford F100 Short-bed Freaks! Stop looking…if you’re looking for a restoration project or a rat rod. What I have here is an extremely straight, very little rust (see one spot!), daily driver truck. This truck has a 223 cubic inch 6-cylinder Engine. It has a manual 3-speed on the tree transmission. The headlights, gas gauge, temp gauge, voltage light all work fine. The Horn, and aftermarket radio do not work. The car has a good clean Arizona title in my name – NO Salvage, NO liens. This truck has AC on it…it does blow – just not cold (needs to be recharged). The truck has a solid front axle with no power steering and no power brakes. The Good: The body is fantastic! Not without little issues here and there…but overall this is an amazing little truck. Runs and drives and could be used as a daily driver, It has AC (although not blowing cold). The Bad: It is a 1964 Ford Truck – solid axle, no power options…but you all know this or you wouldn’t be looking at this little gem. The one spot of rust as shown in picture, The dash was cut for the aftermarket radio (man I hate when they do that!). Needs rubber on cab, Arizona is tough on that! Last thing I can think of is the tires have plenty of tread – but being in AZ and not running every day the tires have some dry rot in the – no leaks hold air. Work Completed: Gas tank dropped and flushed, New Fuel pump, New Hoses, Brakes are fresh Work needed: Some misc electrical repairs – Horn, radio, etc. Has a small engine drip (looks like it needs a new oil pan gasket). Needs the valves adjusted (I just got the valve cover gasket)- was planning on doing the adjustment. FYI – I have a factory shop manual for this truck. This car is being sold in “as is” condition. No warrantee expressed or implied written or verbal. The car must be paid in full prior to leaving my garage. 20% non-refundable deposit is due within 3 days of the close of the auction. Please feel free to ask any questions or I can give you my number to call. Please ask any questions prior to bidding! Note: Change made on 6/8/2015 - Several people asked where the rust spot is...this is right below the passenger vent inside the cab - apparently it must have leaked and formed that one spot. Other thing is the VIN on the frame rail - some people didn't know what that picture was - it shows how clean the truck is - most of the time you can't even read the frame rail VIN due to rust or pitting. Thanks for looking!!!
