Selling a 2005.5 Audi A4 3.2L QuattroMileage- 83,XXXOptions-Cold weather PackageNavigationHeated Seats This car had the TIMING CHAIN redone and engine removed and reinstalled, when it was reinstalled and before it was fired up the mechanics shop closed down. As a result the engine is in the car and linked to the transmission, however ALL electronic connections to the engine are disconnected and timing belt is off. Additionally the bumper was taken off, and in the process of the car being moved around the bumper has bent, and may need to be replaced. Most importantly the vehicle comes without a key as the key was lost in the process of reclaiming the vehicle from the closed down shop. That being said I'm going to be listing the vehicle as "For Parts Only" however it will come with a clean title allowing you to title the car when it is repaired. WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET THIS CAR BACK ON THE ROAD??This is my best guess, and my mechanics best guess not a guarentee-Engine needs to be connected and key reprogramed-Front Belt is disconnected and the compressor and alternator need to be installed-Front bumper needs to be installed (Possibly needs a new bumper)-Rear bumper has a dent and needs to be repainted-Passanger Seat should be replaced-Missing Coolant tank-Minor parts in trunk of car and need to be installed-Car needs to be cleaned (has been sitting for months)-Hood latch needs repair The Good:Timing Chain recently redone (however job was not completed)Clean TitleClean CarFax with no accidentsPrevious CarMax car4 ownersLow Miles$8000 KBB resale value The Bad:NO KEYENGINE DISCONNECTED, CANNOT BE DRIVENDent in rear bumper (please see pictures)Front Passanger seat needs to be replaced The ugly:Front bumper bent because someone crammed it into the trunk of the vehicle (Yes they put the rear seats down however that didn't help)Dirty inside (car has been sitting for months)Rear bumper needs repaint (a lot of bumper scuffs) Although the engine was turning and running prior to the repair I cannot guarantee the condition of the engine because the timing chain job was not completed and the mechanics work was never tested, i.e. the engine was never fired up.
