Vehicle Detail

This modern unmolested car was bought from an estate sale last fall (2014). The 11,184 mile figure is not a typo. It has the automatic transmission. The original owner was a veteran who suffered from severe PTSD. He was a close friend of mine for more than 25 years. He rarely left the house other than to go to VA appointments, thus the low mileage. It was driven regularly, just not very far. The car was purchased new from Exeter Subaru and serviced by them - all essential recalls and oil changes. It has been maintained meticulously. The owner was a true Subaru fan (he previously owned a couple of Brats, Imprezas, legacys, Outbacks and the 1st WRX delivered by the local dealer). He often discussed performance mods for the GT but never preformed any, he was a true pain-in-the-ass to the Exeter Subaru service folks. I have verified with them that he preformed regular maintenance despite the lack of use. Oil changes were done every six months regardless of miles traveled. When I bought it last fall, I wrestled with selling it or keeping it. When I bought it, there were 6,525 miles on it. I have other vehicles and this has not been my daily driver. The original owner always stored it in a heated garage, mine's not heated. In March, as a preventative measure I had the most extensive regular maintenance available preformed at a cost of $589.95 (at 10,2018 miles). Motorcycle season is here in the northeast. I do just not have the time to drive the GT and want the garage space for something else. Regardless, this car should be driven and appreciated and not just sitting on a battery tender waiting it's turn. The trunk and back seats have never been used. The tires are original, every knob and switch feels new, hell, this is as close to a new Legacy 2.5 GT Limited as you can get. If you've read this far, you know that this was the last Subaru performance sedan that does not look like your kid's car. This is the real thing, no disappointments.
