This civic is collection quality and would also make an excellent daily driver capable of 30+mpg! Forget for a moment that this is a unique ride from Japan, and consider the fact that it is a 26 year old car with 107,039 km. Which is only 66,510 miles! This is a great opportunity to own an iconic piece of Honda history in excellent low mileage condition. It is mostly stock with the exception of the following upgrades:-Enkei Bortex Varese wheels-Momo Race steering wheel-Kenwood CD deck-Rain visorsCondition Report:Engine: The JDM ZC 16 engine laid the foundation for Honda engine swaps before V-tec swaps were the norm. With 130hp and a redline of 7200rpm this engine is quite potent in stock trim. The engine runs great and has excellent compression: #1 - 192psi, #2 - 190psi, #3 - 192psi, #4 - 193psi. It runs smooth and revs quickly through the powerband. The valve train is quiet and there are no unusual noises from the engine. The coolant is clean and green, and the oil was just changed with full synthetic 10-30w mobil 1. The underside of the car is very clean as well and there does not appear to be any leaks from the engine or the cooling system. The alternator puts out 14.2v and the starter works great. Battery replaced at 48,241 km. Power steering fluid changed at 51,903 km.Transmission: Shifts perfectly into all 5 gears and reverse.Drivetrain: The clutch grabs hard and feels healthy. The CV boots are in great shape and do not leak, and the CV joints are quiet and operate smoothly.Brakes: Front pad life 70%, rear pad life 70%. Brakes feel strong and responsive. Front rotors will need to be replaced with the next brake change.Suspension: Original in great shape.Wheels/Tires: Enkei Bortex Varese wheels with 185/60/14 Bridgestone Sneaker tires at 80% life.Interior: The interior is clean and in great shape aside from the rip on the driver seat shoulder bolster. Remember, this is a 26 year old car and the seat fabric is usually the first to go with wear and tear. The rest of the fabric is remarkably in great condition, only needing a thorough cleaning to be perfect. The carpet is clean and there is a nice full set of civic checkered floor mats. A Momo race steering wheel and hub replaces the original steering wheel. The original spare is present in the trunk as well as the jack and roadside tools. Factory equipped rear speakers in great condition and sounding great.Accessories: All gauges functional (coolant temp, RPM, speedometer, fuel level), locks functional, roll up windows functional, JDM Kenwood radio with CD and AUX functional, sound system sounds great, digital clock functional, windshield wipers functional, turn signals functional, 12v lighter functional, ashtray light functional, heater functional, windshield sprayers functional, dome light functional, horn functional, A/C blows cold.Exterior: The exterior on this car is excellent for 26 years old. The clear coat is still in great shape and the paint is bright and smooth. The only imperfections are small paint chips, touch up areas, and one very shallow ding on the top side of the driver fender. Otherwise the rest of the body is straight and damage free. The window and door seals are still in great condition and not in need of replacement. The body panels align well and there is no sign of repair work from an accident. However, the front bumper and hood have been repainted at some point, but the paint quality is excellent and matches the rest of the body well. No rust damage other than insignificant surface rust on certain bolts in the engine bay.
