Vehicle Detail

2001 Chevrolet Camaro SS General Motors 2001 F-Body I am selling my Camaro because I have purchased a Datsun Roadsters. I do not need to have two fun cars. I hate to part with my Camaro, I have owned it for over 14 years but it is time to let it go to a good home. I ordered my Camaro SS on Thanksgiving weekend 2000. On February 2nd, Groundhog Day 2001 I received a call that my car had arrived. I went to the dealership the next morning and picked it up. I have been the original owner since February 3rd, 2001. I have never commuted to work in the car. It is garaged and I have only taken it on trips and car shows. There is currently 59403 miles on the car. In 2007 I drove Route 66 from Los Angeles to Chicago and back. In 2009 the car won the award for “Best Camaro Hardtop” in the annual Arizona Route 66 Fun Run 3 day car event. The car is all stock as when I ordered it except the wheels. I thought the chrome “classic Camaro” wheels really added to the beauty of the car. I have the original 17-inch, cast-aluminum wheels that came on the car in boxes. The original rims are included with the car. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 Ultra Performance A/S with less than 4000 miles on the them. The cars features: The color is Onyx BlackSS Performance / Appearance packageBlack Ebony leather interiorTransparent removable roof panels (T-Top) with locks and sun shadesV8 5.7 Liter LS1 engine (335 hp w/ performance exhaust)6 speed manual transmissionAM/FM Monsoon 500-watt sound system with CD playerLeather wrapped steering wheel with duplicate radio controlsSLP Options (Car Number 4096)Custom SS Grille with License plate bracketWrap-Around rear fascia extensions with Center-Mounted Performance Exhaust system.Premium Front Floor Mats with embroidered Camaro SS logoCamaro SS dash plaqueLo Jack Vehicle recovery system There is a small dent (door ding) in the left and right rear quarter panel. The clear coat is “bubbling” on the Sail Panel. This is the roof piece behind the roof panels (T-Top) see photos. Unfortunately, GM used some bad adhesive which caused bubbling over time that can only be fixed by replacing the ENTIRE panel. This is on ALL 4th Generation F-body cars from 1998 to 2002. That is all Camaros and Firebirds with a T-Top.
