This truck SAVED my arse over the last 4 months! My high mile 98 Dodge Ram decided to die killing off it's computer. Had to use THIS truck to do all my heavy hauling. Dragged my car dolly everywhere including a 3 hour trip to Michigan and back to pickup a big block chevy motor. Then on the SAME trip with motor in back, I grabbed a Pontiac Trans Am on my car dolly. Didn't even phase this monster! Don't let the high miles fool you. This truck runs and drives like one with 80k!! I have personally logged 2000 miles on it! Couple dings. A little tiny dent area on the hood. ZERO RUST on the cab, floors or under the doors. Hate to use the term, but these are true highway miles. No way this thing was ever loaded down with heavy work. Yes the utility box has the typical rusty areas. No there aren't a bunch of leaky holes and missing weatherstripping on the doors. Plenty dry inside the cabinets. Front bumper and vinyl trim look great. Minimal dryness on the headlight and turn lenses. Glass looks great. Yokohama Truck rated tires have plenty of tread. As most Yokos are...they have that little bit of road noise. All ride on straight undamaged vibration free rims. Unseen are the nearly new brakes front and rear. The truck stops on a dime. Notice no rust or scale on the doors or in the corner of the cab or even the rockers. Note the frame and associated parts are barely crusty rusty from the midwestern winter salt. Above the left rear tailight socket needs a rewire (turn signal works fine) yet the trailer plug portion works properly as I just used this truck to fetch my new car trailer. Plugged it in and worked perfectly. The electric brakes also worked flawlessly. Towed my first car with this truck. 6.0 liter V8 is powerful. Could barely tell I was pulling anything behind me. I found an 8 bolt rim and good used GoodYear tire, aired up and ready for your roadtrip home. Below are the 3 small touched up dents on the hood. Work related I'm sure. The interior for a work truck looks great! The rubber floor doesn't even have the typical heal worn spot! Driver's seat is nearly perfect. Steering wheel is minimally worn. Dash is great with no cracks and only a few spots of color peel. I HATE smoke and I can't see or smell any signs of a former smoker. I'm 6 feet tall and had plenty of legroom in the Regular Cab. Zero fatigue. Note ALL the dummy lights illuminate with NONE staying on during run. Never had a light come on. Never any codes. Oil pressure is awesome even at idle. No overheating. ALL power items work as they should: Cruise, wipers, AM/FM/CD (altho I haven't tried the CD player), HOT HEAT, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, etc. Couple splatters on the door panel. The little cut on the passenger seat bottom. Unseen behind the seat is the complete spare jack setup. Below you can see the bit of color peel. Truck has ALL 3 original keys and the keys for the utility box. Sorry no floormats or manuals. Engine is super clean. Doesn't leak a drop of anything. No spots on my shop floor overnight. Recent battery fires engine right up. SUper smooth with strong power. No noises. Oil is clean as the day it was changed as is the trans fluid and coolant. Suspension is tight. No noises, squeaks, rattles or pops altho the right front wheel bearing will RANDOMLY make a bit of whine as if starting to need replacement. NO RESERVE REMEMBER?? Brakes are nearly new with no grinding or pulsing. Transmission shifts as it should with or without a load. No drivetrain issues. This is the 2500HD with ICE COLD AC!! SO....down the road you will possibly need a front 2wd wheel bearing and a left rear bulb rewire. Jump in and GET TO WORK TODAY! Plenty of life left in this monster! Inspect my excellent feedbacks.
