1950 Chevy 3100 short bed pickup with a 1984 Chevy S-10 chassis. Pickup was built by me with many new parts and some vintage parts in good shape. I will try to list everything that has been done to the pickup to bring it to the shape it is in today. The cab floors and cab corners were replaced along with the inside cowl panels on each side. 1974 400 SBC with aluminum heads, Edlebrock intake and carburetor feeding headers and dual exhaust with Magnaflow muffler for a low throaty sound. TH400 transmission was professionally rebuilt to handle 500hp+ and it turns a 2000 Chevy Blazer rear end. A Lokar shifter with a 23" handle gives the cab that retro look and feel. Aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps the motor running cool and all the chrome and aluminum under the hood makes it all look hot. The 1984 S10 chassis has new tubular upper a-arms, 2" drop spindles, 1" drop coil springs and new shorter shocks made for the suspension drop. Rear end has new 3" drop leafs and also the shorter shocks. 4 wheel disc brakes with 245/45R17 tires all the way around have the pickup sitting low but not too low to drive around. The cab has had alot of upgrades and also still has the patina of a rat rod. I completely rebuilt the heater assembly with a new heater core and a 12v blower motor. New Shark gauges and a E-Z wire wiring harness were installed along with a Custom Sound radio that mounts in original holes in dash and looks like a 1950 radio but it is a digital radio with I Pod hook up. Chrome steering column with tilt, blinkers and 4 way flashers bring the pickup up to today's standards for the road. All the glass is new with the back and side windows being tinted and it has an outside visor to keep the sun out of your eyes cruising down the road. All the lights have been upgraded to 12v and everything works. Seat is out of a 1990 Chevy pickup but I do not have seat belts installed as of right know. Most of the parts were purchased from Classic Industries so you know they are of very good quality. I'm willing to make a trade as I'm looking for a Harley Davidson Street Glide. Delivery possible if conditions are right.
