This is a very nice, low mileage vintage Jaguar that has some mechanical issues. Great project if you know something about these. It had been sitting for several years before I got it. The body is in great shape and looks like it was repainted at some point. The leather interior is also in great shape. When I first got it, I put in a new battery, and it started right up. It was a little rough, but I was able to drive it up and down the driveway and verify basic operation. I started to fix the little things, like some fuel leaks, and put in new spark plugs. I also noticed that there was a burnt wire in the console, which seems to be related to the power doors and windows, but I haven't traced out the problem yet. At some point, I could no longer get it to start, and noticed that the fuel pump was not running. There was no voltage at the pump, so I changed out the fuel pump relay, and still no voltage at the fuel pump. At this point, I have too many other projects and just don't have time to continue with this one. Seems like a great project with lots of potential.
