1999 Porsche 911 996 Carrera C2 Arctic Silver / Metropol Blue - Fair Condition. No Reserve Over $70,000 invested in car Scroll to the bottom of this listing for many pictures. Up for sale is my 1999 996 C2 with 116,585 miles. It has been a daily driver for about 2 years (70 mile commute). Always garaged, very clean, non-smoker including previous owners. Title in hand. Passed CA SMOG in March 2015. Rides very smooth even at high speeds and under heavy braking. Mileage may be up to 350-400 more than listed because the car will be driven daily until it is sold. This is a great daily driver, parts/donor, or project car. A few of the upgrades including 18x11” Sport Techno turbo wheels and PSS10 coilovers would sell by themselves for about what I am asking for the entire car. The vehicle is not without a few notable issues after all the years and milage. Aside from these issues below and normal wear and tear for the miles the car is 100% functional. It was involved in two very minor front end accidents. On one the bumper has a small depression & marks near the lip of the hood and some small cracks in the clear coat that will require repair and respray or a replacement bumper. The hood was replaced. On the second the drivers side fender was replaced - it will require professional respray. In 2012 and 78,000 miles, I rebuilt the engine with mostly new parts including LNE nickies 3.6L overbore, JE pistons, R&R rods, ARP hardware (mains, heads, and rods), 2 qt deep sump kit, billet chain paddle, LNE IMS bearing, LNE reusable oil filter, lifters, valve job, engine balance, coolant tank, and many many other new parts. The engine is leak and intermix free and very strong and smooth however does occasionally burn some oil at start-up or WOT - this is most likely due to piston/ring seating and/or cylinder scoring. It burns somewhere around the mfg spec maximum of 1 qt per 600 miles. There are a few minor body/paint blemishes which are well pictured. The hood, left rear roof rack mount area, and left rear quarter panel have a small dents or scratches that are not very noticeable unless you are looking for them. The cover is missing/broken from the drivers side sun visor. Steering wheel has some fading at top position. Minor scuffing normal wear and tear on interior B and C pillars. Sunroof mechanism sticks on very rare occasion, but will close after a few attempts. It might just need to be retrained again.
