Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1966 Pontiac GTO. I must sell a couple projects so I can finish my 1969 Camaro, unfortunately! I have the PHS documentation on the car. It is a factory 389 335 HP single 4 BBL ,4 speed car. It was burgundy on the outside with red interior, not a bad combination. The car has a motor chain in the engine compartment, and had a homemade Ram Air system! It has a couple louvers that used to open when the vacuum was high enough! There were Street Outlaws in Oklahoma way before the show! The car is a roller with no motor or transmission. Keep an eye on the auction because there may be more parts added as we go (if I can acquire them). The car will need some floor repair, trunk repair, and windshield opening repair. The rockers have no holes, and there is plenty of good metal to weld too. The frame is super solid with no rot. I have a clean green Oklahoma title in my name. The auction is NO RESERVE so the high bidder will own the car! Freight will be paid by the buyer, or local pickup would also be great. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours. Do not bid if you have less than 10 positive feedback unless you call me at 4O5-55O-95O5 first. I have a spare fender to replace the one that is kinked. You might be able to heat the fender and bring it back to shape, its not rusty. There are a bunch of moldings and other pieces etc pictured that go with the car also. Keep checking the auction for updates and set your alarm so you don't miss your chance to win the car! On May-14-15 at 20:50:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I added some pics of the PHS documenation. This car is a the real deal, A 2 door hardtop with a 4 speed! Bid Accordingly! On May-17-15 at 10:07:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I will be including a 389 block and crank with the sale. You will get to pick either one of the 2 blocks. One is a YS code the other a YD. Both of the blocks appear to have been freshly bored .060 and never run ( no ridge at all). The over-bore will technically put you at 400 CID. The crank has been turned .010/.010 it appears, and is a "nodular" crank. On May-20-15 at 20:37:14 PDT, seller added the following information: 5-20 A local gentleman that came to see the car today had a valid question. He was wondering if the frame mounts that the body bushings were attached to were solid? They indeed are, and you would not think the bushings are almost 50 years old! They are still in pretty decent shape. On May-22-15 at 15:04:49 PDT, seller added the following information: 5-22 One more thing. If you win the auction, I will give you up to 60 days to pick the car up, as long as its paid for. I am also throwing in a Saginaw 4 speed. It is a wide ratio with a 3.50 low first gear. It should really help launch this muscle car!
