Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1972 Plymouth Duster, this car started life as a TB3 Petty Blue on B5 Houndstooth interior, column shifted torqueflite automatic connected to a powerhouse slant 6, manual steering, manual drum brakes, very little frills car, it appears over it's life that somebody has swapped out the Slant 6 K-frame for a V8 one. I pulled the car out of the woods two years ago and I don't see myself ever doing anything with this car like I once intended so it's off to another home hopefully! As you can see the car is very rusty in floor and trunk area, trunk floor removed, quarters also rusty and partially filled with bondo, no front fenders, hood, or bumper. Only frame rust is a half-dollar coin sized hole behind the drivers side front bumper bracket area. Not a lot of interior left as you can see in the pictures and also no driveline is in the car beyond the 7-1/4 rear axle (with air shocks! because this thing appears to have last seen the road in the 70s) Here's the VIN decoded for you VL29C2B511371 V = Plymouth Valiant / Duster L = Low 29 = 2 Door Sports Hardtop C = 225 110HP(net) 1-1BBL 6 CYL 2 = 1972 B = Dodge Main, Hamtramck, MI, USA 511371 = 411370th Vehicle And now the fender tag decoded: VL29: Plymouth Valiant,Duster Low 2 Door Sports Hardtop C2B: 225 110HP(net) 1-1BBL 6 CYL 1972 Dodge Main, Hamtramck, MI, USA 511371: Sequence number E24: 225 cid 1 barrel 6 Cylinder 145hp D34: Light Duty Automatic Transmission TB3: Blue Streak Exterior Color B1B5: Trim - Basic, Unknown, Blue CB5: Bright Blue Poly Int. Door Frames 714: Build Date: July 14 434329: Order number TB3: Blue Streak Top Color U: USA Specifications EN1: End of Sales Codes All in all the car is what it is, it has a few hundred (if not more) dollars worth of parts still on it if you want it for parts or with some money spent at AMD, Classic Industries, YearOne, etc. you could restore it back to.... well maybe not back to a slant 6 car, but to a fun cruiser all together! Note: eBay will likely say that this car is located in Indianapolis, IN 46214, which it is not. The car is actually located near Culver, IN 46511. Also the front bumper brackets on the car are not included, they belong to my 1971 Dodge Dart. I do have other parts that would work on the car if you want to spend a little more cash!
