Restored a few years ago in South Carolina this Z is an exception as the body has never needed rust repair and remains in excellent overall condition. Equipped with the 2.7 litre 6 cylinder engine and 5 speed transmission it offers great performance and reliability. All suspension components, shocks, struts, bushings, etc. were attended to and are in perfect working order. Brakes, clutch, and electrical system are also in excellent condition. The interior, seats, headliner, carpet, door panels are in excellent shape. One small 1 inch heat crack in the dash top, all gauges work including the clock. New Minilite type wheels and tires. The body remains in excellent shape, a few minor stone chips which have been touched up are the only imperfections. Even body gaps attest to the fine condition of this Z. As most Z fans realize the biggest concern of Z ownership is body condition and this car is as straight as they come. The standard 280 ( ugly) bumpers have been professionally removed and 240 Z bumpers have been installed creating a more classic look while being a 280 offers improved performance due to the larger fuel injected engine and 5 speed transmission vs a standard 240.
