1980 DG Package RacerWarren Reid Replica MXHonda CR125R ---TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION---$1.00 STARTING BID---BIKE WILL SELL---Call me crazy, but I'm hoping that listing this incredible bike at no reserve will work out in my favor and generate a ton of interest and bids. It's a real gamble but I'm going for it. This bike is almost $10,000.00 on my website, but it's going to sell to the highest bidder here. This just might turn out to be the steal of a lifetime for someone lucky like you. This bike is one of my personal favorites; a 1980 DG Package Racer that was fully restored including motor, suspension, cosmetics, etc. There's not much I can tell you about this bike other than what a close look at these photos will show you. But, keep in mind that this was not just a 'cosmetic' resto. All mechanicals & internals like suspension, wheels, & motor were completely rebuilt and refurbished as needed. The bike runs as good as it looks. Included are all original DG bits such as; pipe, silencer, swingarm, radial head, ported cylinder, ported & worked Mikuni carb, ignition, tall seat, Moto-X Fox shocks, Simons forks, GOKI fork air equilizers, Oury grips, Reid Replica chromoly bars, cables, Magura dog leg levers are NOS, Twin-Air filter element, etc. Everything was either newly powder coated, polished, or re-plated as required. Items were only replaced if necessary. All original DG & OEM parts were retained and we used as few aftermarket replacement parts as was absolutely necessary. If the part was restorable then that's what we did--restore it. The fenders are VMX out of New Mexico, but all other plastics are original and have been polished to like-new. Graphics are from Fast Guy Stuff and are first rate. I really tried to keep this bike as close to original as I found it, so a correct NOS style resto was employed. This wound up costing me a small fortune, but I believe that it was worth it. Just look at the photos of this beautiful bike. This is what you will be getting. This was a no expense spared 100 point resto. Has ZERO miles on it since completed. Restored by a good friend who just so happens to be a vintage DG-FMF-Moto-X Fox specialist. Like I said before, I spared NO-EXPENSE during this restoration! Bike was restored several years ago so close inspection will show that bike is no longer perfect. There are some very slight imperfections---see close up photos please. Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong. Bike has been sitting for a while and should have a complete RACE PREP by you prior to riding or racing it.Please look at photos and ask questions USE PHOTO ZOOM FEATURE. This is your best way to determine it's condition so PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AND ASK QUESTIONS if unclear about anything.Az-Mike 623-465-0636. Feel free to call anytime. This bike DOES NOT have a TITLE. Mileage is an ESTIMATE please see bike's condition and decide mileage for yourself.PAYMENT: I accept a $250 DEPOSIT only through payal. I will NOT ACCEPT full payment through paypal. Any balance of funds are due within 7 days via; cash in person, wire transfer, personal check, bank check. Bike does not leave my possession until all funds have cleared my bank. Please only bid if you intend to follow through with the purchase. I will use eBay's unpaid item dispute feature to their full extent if I am pushed into doing so. All shipping costs are the responsibility of buyer but I can help arrange shipping for you if needed. Pick up is preferred. SHIPPING: INTERNATIONAL--This bike DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE, so getting out of USA and into yours will be relatively HARD. All shipping costs are the responsibility of buyer but I can help arrange for you if needed. Pickup is preferred.NOTE: I will not be available to ship this bike between the dates of May 23rd and May 30th. Bike may be picked up anytime before or after those dates. REGARDING LOW-ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS - I have had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE with zero-5 feedback bidders walking away from their purchases. THEREFORE--If you have 0 feedbacks showing I will AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL your bids unless you CALL ME FIRST to discuss. LESS THAN 5 AND I'LL PROBABLY CANCEL THOSE AS WELL. I'm really sorry to do this to all the honest and legitimate ebayers who are new, but it seems like the vast majority are flakes and simply ruin the auctions for everyone. REMEMBER--If you REALLY WANT IT you must CALL ME to discuss first. Thanks for understanding--Az-Mike 623-465-0636 On May-14-15 at 20:20:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Had a question regarding the pipe---YES it is an actual DG unit from 1981. If anyone has a 1981 DG catalogue, please look for photos of this pipe in their 'Bag of Tricks' section for the 125 Elsinore. Notice the dip in top of pipe? That is due to the larger expansion chamber area of the DG unit over the stocker for clearance of tank. DG stopped making coned pipes around 1978 and went with their own tooling to 'stamp' the steel, just like their pipes are made today.
