I personally road test each vehicle so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor with the desirable factory Sport Package and the rare 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this C230 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. The bright silver exterior has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. You'd have to look pretty closely to find anything to complain about on the exterior of this Merc. Pride in ownership shows throughout this C230. What is most noteworthy about this specific C230 is that there are no rust bubbles visible on the exterior...which is common as these cars age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The 17" alloy wheels are specific to the factory Sport Package and show very well. They are wrapped in a matching set of Bridgestone Potenza's with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this C230 Sport to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The sport seats show well throughout the interior and have obviously been well cared for. Again, pride in ownership shows well throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The power rear sunshade raises and lowers smoothly. Both front seats are heated. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system offers independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The heater work properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The trunk is spacious and clean. Inside the glove box is a complete set of books and manuals as well as the original owners manual. This Mercedes-Benz also comes complete with two master keys. Mechanically, this C230 Sport appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.8L Supercharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The sport suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. This Mercedes handles like it's on rails and is a blast to drive. The supercharged four cylinder engine is surprisingly powerful and responsive. Power is put to the ground through a six speed manual transmission, which is very hard to find. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual tranmission are crisp and precise as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I'd drive this car anywhere without a second thought. There is a check engine light on for the rear oxygen sensor which doesn't seem to impact the performance of the car. A drive down a twisty back road results in involuntary smiles. I personally road test each vehicle so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor with the desirable factory Sport Package and the rare 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this C230 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. The bright silver exterior has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. You'd have to look pretty closely to find anything to complain about on the exterior of this Merc. Pride in ownership shows throughout this C230. What is most noteworthy about this specific C230 is that there are no rust bubbles visible on the exterior...which is common as these cars age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The 17" alloy wheels are specific to the factory Sport Package and show very well. They are wrapped in a matching set of Bridgestone Potenza's with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this C230 Sport to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The sport seats show well throughout the interior and have obviously been well cared for. Again, pride in ownership shows well throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The power rear sunshade raises and lowers smoothly. Both front seats are heated. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system offers independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The heater work properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The trunk is spacious and clean. Inside the glove box is a complete set of books and manuals as well as the original owners manual. This Mercedes-Benz also comes complete with two master keys.
Mechanically, this C230 Sport appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.8L Supercharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The sport suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. This Mercedes handles like it's on rails and is a blast to drive. The supercharged four cylinder engine is surprisingly powerful and responsive. Power is put to the ground through a six speed manual transmission, which is very hard to find. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual tranmission are crisp and precise as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I'd drive this car anywhere without a second thought. There is a check engine light on for the rear oxygen sensor which doesn't seem to impact the performance of the car. A drive down a twisty back road results in involuntary smiles. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
