Vehicle Detail
This car has tons of potential to be made into something great. Most of the heavy duty fabricating has already been done, but the finished product is still wide open to anyone's design. This is the "short door version" which was the most desirable for building race cars with back in the day. HERE'S ALL THE GOOD STUFF Chevy Nova modified front stub with new control arm bushings, ball joints, and steering components. The rest of the frame is original ford coupe. Brake system is all new including calipers, vented rotors, braided and solid lines, adjustable proportioning valve, replica master cylinder, and rear axle brakes. 1970 Nova GM 8.5" rear axle, 3:23 ratio with new leaf springs and mounts. Axle is in good condition with no known problems. 1985 GM 305 four barrel, truck / van code, TH350 short shaft. Powertrain is in good condition with no known problems. Quadrajet carb is in good condition and includes an $80.00 overhaul kit. Body is solid and straight with a few small dents. Has new custom made floor pans, trunk pan, and firewall, has other new reproduction panels also. Doors are set up for electric pushbutton entry. Includes a spare hood and complete set of body trim. HERE'S THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF Tires and wheels are bad, and are only suitable for trailer loading and rolling. The only parts that come with the car are what you see in the photos. The following parts DO NOT come with the car: Interior, glass, front bumper, steering column, drive shaft, gas tank, exhaust system, electrical harness. There is no title with this car, and I have never found any visible numbers on the chassis. Due to health problems, I am passing this project on to someone who can finish it properly. I have tried to be as complete as possible with the description, thanks for looking.
