What we have here is an all original Porsche 924 turbo. My father in-law used it as his main car from 1981-1988, from that point it was used as a summer vehicle until it was parked in his garage in 1999. In 2001 he had some work done to it, which included a new turbo, front struts and misc. maintenance items (sorry no receipts). He drove it a few hundred more miles and from that point on he decided to park it in his garage. So from 2001 car has been started a few times a year, taken around the block, but really has been sitting the better part of 14 years. Car still starts and drives, moves down the road decently but does not idle on its own, there is a slow electrical drain somewhere so battery does need to be charged if car has been sitting for a few days. Tires are old with good trend but have some weather cracking on them. Exterior of the car is the best part, besides some light scratches, couple little dings car is straight as an arrow, Zero Rust (check out the pics and the link to the pics) So what we have here is a great candidate for restoration that will make somebody a great little toy. They are rare so I think starting bid is more than fair, Don't know a lot about Porsches so just assume the mechanicals of the vehicle will need to be gone thru to make it road worthy.
