This 1948 Plymouth Coupe has been built into a full customized car. The top has been chopped 4-1/2 inches. The headlights are frenched and the 1939 Ford tail lights have been frenched and deeply recessed into the body. The trunk lid has been shaved and the hood has been shaved and punched full of louvers. The bumpers are smoothed. A new 318 C.I. Mopar Crate engine with torque-flight automatic transmission was installed at the time of the build. Power is transferred to an 8-3/4 inch Plymouth rear end., The car has polished American Racing mag wheels. Engine compartment has a cooling fan, ribbed valve covers and air cleaner on a 2 bbl carburetor. Engine compartment is clean. Nice dark gray pleated interior with bucket seats. Upholstered trunk also. Under carriage is clean. The car currently has 13,000 miles since work was done. Everyone comments on how beautiful the paint job is on this car.
