Up for auction is a 1984 K30 Chevy 8' bed D30 MILITARY POSTAL UNIT which originally had a 6.2 diesel engine that was removed by the previous and a 454 was installed that means that this truck is smog exempt. I bought this truck 4 years ago, it had a 6 inch lift with a 3 in body lift and 39x15 16.5 Mud Swampers tires on it and a dually bed. I removed all of that and put a 4 inch SkyJacker soft ride lift and 35X12.50R 18 Nitto Mud Grapplers with 18X10 Chrome American Racing ATX Series, the tires have 15/32 of the original 21/32 worth of tread left. This is a California truck there is no rust. The GM Crate ZZ454 motor has about 6 to 7 thousand miles on it, the carburation is Holley Avenger 4 barrel throttle body, the Turbo 400 transmission and NP205 transfer case were rebuilt about 2 years ago at the same time the motor was installed. I have never seen a front bumper like the one on this truck, as you can tell by the picture there is a Warn 10,000 winch that is tucked into the bumper and covered up by a piece of diamond plate steel. Currently the winch is not wired for use, but it does work. I installed a new radiator with dual electric fans. The truck runs great with the Holley fuel injection and MSD street fire ignition. The front differential is a Dana 60 and the rear is a corporate 14 bolt with the original locker. The truck has dual 20 gallon gas tanks. Glass is all intact with no cracks. Wanted to complete the restoration but I have run out time and ambition, spending too much time at work. Not sure on what the real mileage is, the speedometer works but I don't think the odometer work. This was a mail vehicle. $1,000 Deposit Must Be Made Within 24 Hrs Of End Of Auction.
