It was sold to my company as a fresh water flooded vehicle with a salvage title. When this car was delivered to our body shop, we did a complete inspection on the car and it was completely dry. We removed the seats, the carpet, and the door panel, they also performed a complete diagnostic and inspected all the computers and the modules, wire harnesses, connectors, engine, and transmission, and they could not find any water, everything is in a perfect condition. The reason the car has a flooded title is probably due to a fact that it was related to a flooded area.You're welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns. Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title". Salvage title means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss", Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car was totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has a minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes an owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and (depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car) Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. We have bought "Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. In brief, Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy or sell any cars with major damage. Rebuilt title: once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by the state for all repairs and a "Rebuilt Title" is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road. It saves a lot of trouble for buyers as they don't have to get the car inspected or fill out any extra paper work as is the case with Salvage title. With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the BMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work. This car has Ohio salvage rebuilt title. It has passed Ohio salvage highway patrol inspection. There will be no issues with a transfer of the title or getting a license plate in any state in the US. You don't have to pass any inspections in your state, everything is done in Ohio! The title is ready to be transferred to customers name in any state in the US. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS with all the information about it provided in the auction. It is the responsibility of the buyer to read over the entire auction and ask any questions about the vehicle prior to bidding. All sales are final. If you are planning to finance the vehicle through a lending institution, you must secure the loan prior to making an offer/placing bid or clicking Buy Now. Please inform your lender that the car has a rebuilt salvage title. The total amount due is the high bid plus $295.00 for documentation fee plus your sales tax. I collect sales tax for residents of Ohio (rate varies by county of residence) and for residents of Arizona 5.6%, California 7.25%, Florida 6%, Indiana 7%, Massachusetts 6.25%, Michigan 6%, South Carolina 6% , Under the United States Commerce Clause, your state must provide you with a sales tax credit for any sales tax we collect: you will not be double taxed. However, if the amount due to your state is higher than what I collect you are responsible for the difference. I require a $500 non-refundable deposit which must be paid with in (24) hours of winning the auction.The remaining balance is due within three (3) business days of making the deposit.No exception.
