1978 Corvette Pace Car This car has been put away for nearly twenty years. At that time it looks like someone took a great car and did some changes to a valuable Corvette. The paint on this car is as nice as it gets. There is not a stress crack or door ding anywhere on the car. It has never been damaged. All the seams fit as they did from the factory. The glass is all in good condition. The rubber throughout the body is still soft. The interior is still in nice condition. The dash is clean and the seats are original and appear well. Some of the instruments are inoperable. This is a motor that has been modified. It has a Wieand manifold and different carburetor. The exhaust has headers and it sounds like something serious has been done to the motor. The suspension is original and it drives nicely. The automatic, brakes, rear-end all work properly. This Corvette is extremely fast. Be aware that this may not pass emission inspection depending on your states requirements. The original air cleaner and a box of parts go with the car. The tires maybe original and need replacing. The polished factory wheels are excellent. This is a spectacular looking car. You could probably drive it every day but it needs work.
