My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each vehicle runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction from my personal collection is a fairly rare 1973 Lincoln Continental Coupe. The eBay VIN decoder doesn't recognize the serial number for this car because it was produced before the standardized 17 digit VIN was introduced. The above VIN is correct. I've owned this Lincoln for a little over a year but, sadly, she just sits in a corner in my warehouse. I've been going back and forth for a while but have finally decided to let her go. As far as I can see, this Continental Coupe is completely original. She has had one meticulous owner since new and has just 15k original miles. From what I can gather, he owned a service station and took remarkable care of this car. The exterior is not perfect and does show some age. I chose to leave her all original but the next owner can decide what he or she wants to do with it. The original yellow finish shows well for its age. There are a few surface rust spots that look like they are just from metal being exposed from chipped paint like you'd get from sap droppings, ect. The majority of these are on the trunk lid, as you can see. There are a few on the hood as well as a small spot on the bottom of the FR fender. I'm sure there are a few other imperfections to be found if you look closely enough, but nothing major. The white top is also original and shows some age on the top and some pulling around the rear where it meets the body. Again, nothing terrible...just some normal age related wear. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The doors do not sag at all. The chrome exterior trim is all present, intact and shows well except one spot on the LF corner where a nickel sized piece of chrome plate has chipped off of the bumper. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The hide away headlight doors open and close properly. The original wheel covers are all present, intact and show well. The tires have good tread all around but are old and show some dry rot on the sidewalls. Please take your time and look at each of the photos very carefully. I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have. The interior of this Continental Coupe shows very well. The door panels are clean and tight. All the trim and switches are intact and work properly. The dash and rear deck show well. The headliner is clean. The white leather seats show well for their age and are very comfortable. The seats are still soft and supple, not dry and hard. The carpets are nice looking and also show very well. The two front windows don't go down. I can hear the motors turn but the windows do not lower. The two rear windows go up and down properly. Both mirrors adjust properly. The power locks work properly. Both power seats are fully functional. The radio is original and sounds great. The climate control system is automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioning compressor turns on but does not blow cold air. I'd imagine a recharge is in order. The ash trays look like they've never been used. The trunk is spacious and clean. The glove box contains the original owners manual in pristine condition as well as the original window sticker, original sales agreement, original build sheet and correspondence between the owner and Ford Motor Company. Also included are several old registration cards and several old inspection stickers (remember, the owner of this car owned a service station). Also included will be correspondence between the owner and PennDOT basically fighting over the status of the car when he got it registered as an antique. This is a chance to own a very hard to find vehicle with an incredible amount of documentation. Mechanically, this Continental appears to be in good running and driving condition. The spends her days in the corner of my warehouse hooked up to a battery tender and fires right up with no fuss. She purrs like a kitten, as you'd expect a 15k mile car to run. The engine bay is a little dusty from sitting around but is remarkably clean. The original Ford blue engine paint is all still intact as well as all of the original stickers and assembly markings. I didn't see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She seems to run a little rich and is probably in need of a tune up since she spends most of her life dormant. The engine keeps good oil pressure and good temperature. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. Her road manners are good. The big 460ci V8 makes good power and gets you down the road with ease. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Given the age of the tires, I avoid highway driving just to be safe. If you are local, you can probably drive her home no problem. If you live more than an hour or so away, I'd recommend having her transported or bringing your own trailer since I don't know how old the tires are. The only thing I know of that doesn't work mechanically is the fuel gauge. This is probably the lowest mileage Continental Coupe on the market, not to mention she is all original and comes with an uncommon level of documentation. Over the production life of the Continental Coupe, roughly 1,600 per year were produced which makes these cars very rare. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each vehicle runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction from my personal collection is a fairly rare 1973 Lincoln Continental Coupe. The eBay VIN decoder doesn't recognize the serial number for this car because it was produced before the standardized 17 digit VIN was introduced. The above VIN is correct. I've owned this Lincoln for a little over a year but, sadly, she just sits in a corner in my warehouse. I've been going back and forth for a while but have finally decided to let her go. As far as I can see, this Continental Coupe is completely original. She has had one meticulous owner since new and has just 15k original miles. From what I can gather, he owned a service station and took remarkable care of this car. The exterior is not perfect and does show some age. I chose to leave her all original but the next owner can decide what he or she wants to do with it. The original yellow finish shows well for its age. There are a few surface rust spots that look like they are just from metal being exposed from chipped paint like you'd get from sap droppings, ect. The majority of these are on the trunk lid, as you can see. There are a few on the hood as well as a small spot on the bottom of the FR fender. I'm sure there are a few other imperfections to be found if you look closely enough, but nothing major. The white top is also original and shows some age on the top and some pulling around the rear where it meets the body. Again, nothing terrible...just some normal age related wear. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The doors do not sag at all. The chrome exterior trim is all present, intact and shows well except one spot on the LF corner where a nickel sized piece of chrome plate has chipped off of the bumper. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The hide away headlight doors open and close properly. The original wheel covers are all present, intact and show well. The tires have good tread all around but are old and show some dry rot on the sidewalls. Please take your time and look at each of the photos very carefully. I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have.
The interior of this Continental Coupe shows very well. The door panels are clean and tight. All the trim and switches are intact and work properly. The dash and rear deck show well. The headliner is clean. The white leather seats show well for their age and are very comfortable. The seats are still soft and supple, not dry and hard. The carpets are nice looking and also show very well. The two front windows don't go down. I can hear the motors turn but the windows do not lower. The two rear windows go up and down properly. Both mirrors adjust properly. The power locks work properly. Both power seats are fully functional. The radio is original and sounds great. The climate control system is automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioning compressor turns on but does not blow cold air. I'd imagine a recharge is in order. The ash trays look like they've never been used. The trunk is spacious and clean. The glove box contains the original owners manual in pristine condition as well as the original window sticker, original sales agreement, original build sheet and correspondence between the owner and Ford Motor Company. Also included are several old registration cards and several old inspection stickers (remember, the owner of this car owned a service station). Also included will be correspondence between the owner and PennDOT basically fighting over the status of the car when he got it registered as an antique. This is a chance to own a very hard to find vehicle with an incredible amount of documentation.
Mechanically, this Continental appears to be in good running and driving condition. The spends her days in the corner of my warehouse hooked up to a battery tender and fires right up with no fuss. She purrs like a kitten, as you'd expect a 15k mile car to run. The engine bay is a little dusty from sitting around but is remarkably clean. The original Ford blue engine paint is all still intact as well as all of the original stickers and assembly markings. I didn't see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She seems to run a little rich and is probably in need of a tune up since she spends most of her life dormant. The engine keeps good oil pressure and good temperature. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. Her road manners are good. The big 460ci V8 makes good power and gets you down the road with ease. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Given the age of the tires, I avoid highway driving just to be safe. If you are local, you can probably drive her home no problem. If you live more than an hour or so away, I'd recommend having her transported or bringing your own trailer since I don't know how old the tires are. The only thing I know of that doesn't work mechanically is the fuel gauge. This is probably the lowest mileage Continental Coupe on the market, not to mention she is all original and comes with an uncommon level of documentation. Over the production life of the Continental Coupe, roughly 1,600 per year were produced which makes these cars very rare. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any kind of warranty.

Vehicles ten model years old and older are exempt from odometer disclosure, this is a federal law. Mileage may be listed as "exempt" or "TMU" on titles for vehicles older than ten model years old. Should we have reason to believe that mileage listed for a vehicle is inaccurate, this will be disclosed within the written description provided for the vehicle regardless of the odometer status listed on the title.
