DescriptionRegretfully offered is this beautiful 1979 Lincoln Town Coupe in triple aqua. Have to sell as I cant take it with me when I move. I have had this beauty as a project car for about 5 years and have had original heavy duty radiator recored, new heavy duty shocks, new custom dual exhaust and new AC compressor[blows ice cold]. Plugs and wires are about a year old. This car has been a daily driver for me the past 5 years and will get compliments EVERY TIME you take it out. Lincoln only made 2000 of these town coupes in 1979 and only 100 in the triple aqua, so there is a bit of rarity to this car. Only 76K original miles. The odometer has not flipped. This car would be perfect for restoration though body does have a few spots of body rusting but nothing overwhelming. No dash cracks. Does not burn oil but known to leak a little of it. WHATS WRONG WITH CAR: As mentioned the body does have some rust bubbling, the power vent windows need work as one has fallen inside door and other has come off track but still up. The engine is not at top performance as it most likely needs new points, cap and rotor and in the past week has developed a small exhaust manifold leak but no fumes are getting into cabin. Vinyl top has splits in need of replacement. Interior in good condition with NO rips or holes in carpet or seats but could use a cleaning. All accessories work including cruise control, wipers, radio/8 track player, power antennae, power seats, trunk pop button[in glove box], turn signals, side lamps, opera lamps, AC etc...Just a great car with only minor issues in need of some TLC.
